Camp Clay: “The Vase”

At Camp Clay we explore the concepts of functionality, care, and creation.

In “The Vase” we will be creating functional and decorative vase forms using mid-range clay. Students will be partaking in handbuilding and surface-oriented demonstrations based on a variety of ceramic techniques– including coil building, glazing, and firing work. 

This unit totals in 4 classes, and will take place each Tuesday from May 2nd to May 23rd from 5:30pm - 8:30pm. 

This class is limited to 8 students and slots are available on a first come first served basis. Additional studio hours will be available weekly.

All sessions of Camp Clay are led by Eliza Gooding and Cameron Dukes out of Eliza’s private studio in Brooklyn, NY. 

All levels of experience are encouraged!

This fee covers both the class and all material/firing expenses
